This series begins with an unexpected question: What becomes of a creature after extinction?
Millions of years after dinosaurs and the flora of their world vanished, fragments of their image return to us — not as living beings, but as plastic toys shaped by imagination and industry. These toys are imitations, yet they carry a faint echo of something that once walked the earth.

By photographing these toys in blurred, luminous forms, the works explore the distance between the “true self” and the “false self.” The dinosaur as toy is a manufactured identity, but within its silhouette survives a trace of ancient life — a memory reborn through culture.
The images reveal how identity is never singular: it exists somewhere between what is authentic, what is imagined, and what is recreated.

本シリーズは、意外な問いから始まる。
――「絶滅した生物は、その後どのように世界に戻ってくるのか？」

数億年前に恐竜や当時の植物が消え去った後、彼らの姿は生物としてではなく、
人間の想像力と産業によって生まれた プラスチックの玩具 として再び現れる。
それらは本物ではない。だが、その輪郭の中には、かつて存在した生命のかすかな記憶が生きている。

玩具をぼかし、光の中に溶かし込むことで、
「本来の自己」と「偽りの自己」のあいだに揺らぐアイデンティティを可視化している。
玩具としての恐竜は人工的な存在だが、その形には失われた世界の残響が宿る。
本シリーズは、真実と虚構、記憶と再創造のはざまで揺れ動く「自己」の本質を探る試みである。
